Elie Saab Couture Spring/Summer 2012

Lebanese fashion designer, Elie Saab, is probably one of the most talented designers around when it comes to designing beautiful jaw-dropping couture garments and I was certain his Spring/Summer 2012 collection was going to be impressive. For me, Elie Saab is the king of couture and this is especially so after Givenchy’s couture collection for SS12.

This collection is truly beautiful and his choice of colours is perfectly romantic from pretty pinks to cool light blues. The embroidery on the garments is breathtaking and all of the hemlines and silhouettes work with the models frame to reveal a gorgeous physique. Elie Saab’s designs are popular with the likes of Cleine Dion, Angelina Jolie and Aishwarya Rai and I can see this collection being very popular with many more celebrities. 

I was waiting for this collection and the wait was worth it.
